Kings College Criteria for Non-Acetaminophen related acute liver failure and Indication for Liver Transplant

Non-Acetaminophen induced ALF

Prothrombin time >100 s (INR > 6.5)

Any 3 of the following (irrespective of grade of encephalopathy):

Age <10 or >40 years
Etiology: non-A/non-B hepatitis, drug-induced
Duration of jaundice to hepatic encephalopathy (HE) >7 days
Prothrombin time >50 (INR > 3.5)
Serum bilirubin >300 μmol/L
