we have a 9yr old girl with a year long {at least} complete right lung collapse with consolidation. Already completed 9 mo anti TB treatment with no releif. Presently she is on multi drug resistent anti Tb treatment and clarithromycin for last about 2 weeks. Mantoux is strongly positive with raised ESR. Bronchoscopy revealed large amount of prulent sputum with out external compresssion.

Secondary infection has to be treated with antibitootics.Foreign body has to be considered.lobectomy if lung is damaged.
