Drug Index

Tocopherol

Synonyms :

Alpha Tocopherol, Vitamin E

Mechanism :

Vitamin E exhibit antioxidant activity. Vitamin E's anti-atherogenic activity involves the inhibition of the oxidation of low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) and the accumulation of oxLDL in the arterial wall.
