I am told no antihistaminic is safe below two yrs of age. But Phenergan is very commonly used in children. And there are many drops preparation which contains phenylephrine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate what is your opinion about this?

The US FDA has recommended that no antihistamines should be used in children less than 2 years of age due to the possibility of sudden infant death.
