what medicines can be prescribed to a neonate and infants upto 3 months of age for cough without fever_?
2
Expert Answer :
It depends on whether it is LRTI or URTI - most often it could be URTI - when we use NO medications since they are mostly viral. Sometimes simple anti-histamine drops may need to be used. If it is LRTI or Bronchiolitis - again symptomatic treatment is advised.
