In anicteric hepatitis, elevated liver enzymes (SGOT, SGPT, LDH) with normal bilirubin levels are commonly found. GGTP & alkaline phosphatase may also be marginally elevated. Because of vague symptoms and the absence of icterus, this diagnosis is often missed.
