Q. The 23-day-old baby presented with multiple abscesses mainly in her thighs and groins, a few in her back and neck, no associated symptoms, the general condition is well, fair feeding no signs of sepsis or systemic features, and the perinatal period was completely normal. How to manage this case and how to follow it?

Do VDRL test for both baby and mother! Treat for neonatal syphilis with penicillin!
